Okay so... a lot of anti-forum people ironically on the forums are accusing the Fmods of abuse. Here we see a mod do her job of hiding the rulebreaking content but reposting it to accommodate the rules and leaving the thread for us to enjoy. I've never seen that type of moderation elsewhere.

On the thread topic - I remember seeing that posted by meme pages several times, lol. Not sure who the OP is.

To be truly fair, we very rarely see that type of moderation on this forum either. Typically the whole thing would just be nuked and locked down and we would never even know what we missed out on in the first place. Without the special green crown account access, we get a very neutered forum experience.

Whether it's true or not is irrelevant. Through a combination of factors the green crowns give the perception of actively helping to kill the forums, and me and thousands of other past heavy forum users are happy to see them forced into retirement with no official archive of their accomplishments or any recognition for their service over the years. They won't be getting green crowns in-game or being converted to player moderators in-game.

The main factor is the wildly over-strict moderation they are forced to apply with Jagex's outdated rules that are out of touch with reality and from a different era. The forum setup and systems here are pre-social media age and it shows. The rules they enforce here are overtuned for online communication in 2024, and have been for 10 years or more.

The other factor here is the one you claim to refute. The genuine bias some green crowns display, and the minor abuses of power they've been able to get away with in more recent years through Jagex's neglect of the forums.
