Friend wants to commit suicide Thread is locked

One of my friends on RS threatened to kill himself 8 days ago and he was been offline and has not responded to me or anyone else since. I have emailed Jagex's tipoff email, and tried contacting support on Twitter. The Twitter responses have been 0 help at all, and I don't get responses to the tipoff emails. Does anyone know what else I can do? I only have his RSN and his Discord info, no other personal info. Thank you!

If you went through the correct channels with Jagex, i can guarantee you mate, they would have informed the correct people, suicide threats are taken very seriously in this day and age from any company, not just Jagex.

I hope your mate is ok and receiving the help he needs.

Well that's dark. I have been down that road before. Since we don't know all of the details, like the name of the individual, where they live, social media, etc and they've been off-line I'm not sure what anyone here can really do except pray which in my book is the most that can be done. I mean, it saved my life literally so that's about the only advice I can give because it was my experience.

I'm sure even an RSN can point the direction to start to pave the way right to any individuals location in this day and age "if really needed"

Internet is more intrusive than most want to believe and used in that way for "i hope" only the best circumstances.

if you contacted jagex about it. they would have 100% looked into it and did the best they could.

for future for anyone else you can report the message ingame under "real life threats" even though its against themselves it is there for a good reason. and they will contact police or anyone they can that could help the individual

Update, this is now being looked into.
Here's the reply I got from Mod Mils:

"Thank you for contacting us to voice your concerns and highlight a potential Community Safety issue. Please be assured that we take player safety extremely seriously.

I am happy to let you know that the information has now been passed on to our Community Safety team who are investigating. Please understand that whilst you may not learn of the outcomes of said investigations due to their sensitive nature, appropriate action will be taken."
