Dame Angela Lansbury, best known today for the 'Murder She Wrote' series, but also a three-time Oscar nominee (1944, 1945 & 1962) with a career spanning an extraordinary 80 years, has died aged 96.

I know who she was but didnt follow the TV series.

She was a wonderful actress. I think I first saw her in Disney's Bedknobs and Broomsticks and we often watch Murder She Wrote. RIP

It's weired as I thought she passed away years ago.

I did watch the shows and enjoyed them very much.

Great actress who had a great life.

Going to be missed by all her fans.
