I thought this was going to about Jigsaw from saw...

I don't think I could do a jigsaw of him. He scares the crap out of me lol.

Yesterday I did a little more. I split it up into coloured bits. Was harder then I planned and took well over 2 hours. I now have several piles of parts that match the colours. I also added a few bits. This may take a while and I mean a while.

Harder then I thought. Fun though but hard. I'll do some more later. Can't do too much per day due to back issues. It's glass and hurts like mad. :P

If anyone else does jigsaws post your pictures. Would be fun to see.

I used to do a lot of jigsaw puzzles a few years back, then I discovered jigsaw puzzles online.

I remember one my Mom got me for Christmas one year. It was round and the picture of green marble. That was my first round puzzle and wasn't sure how to attack it since other pieces had round edges.

I got very interested in 3D puzzles. The hardest one was the Eternal Woman. Each piece was a flat contoured disk and you had to fit each on a spindle. You start at the neck and work upwards. Here's an assembled picture:

The largest jigsaw I have ever done was 1500 pieces.

EDIT: After finishing the neck of the Eternal Woman, I took a step back and realized that the muscles didn't look right. I started taking it apart when a piece fell on the floor backside up. That's when I discovered the pieces were number in a very faded blue, kinda hard to see at a glance. Each piece was marked to indicate frontside up.

I'm never board though. I log off RS 1-2 hours sooner then I usually do just to do the jigsaw before the sun sets and the light is bad.

Can't do the jigsaw with the living room light on as my parrots get upset lol. They scream for the light to go out. Trust me you don't want to hear them all night screaming.

So I only do 1-2 hours a day on the jigsaw except the weekend when it's a lot longer. ;)

I've done several 3D puzzles.

White House
US Capital Building
Tower of London
Big Ben
A Grandfather clock that actually worked
Empire State building
Eiffel Tower

to name a few.

One of the hardest ones I did was the The Earth.

The suggestion was to put a ball the same dimensions as the inside of the puzzle to keep it round and leave the ball in the puzzle. I couldn't find a ball the right size. They were either too big or too small. Without the ball it was difficult keeping the Earth round.
