okay so i bought a new monitor and it’s good for playing ps3 games but when i use it on desktop it’s kinda icky? it’s such a high saturation or contrast. it’s making rs screen chat almost unreadable. and like skin color and stuff is much more red/orange than natural. it also has a way too bright white color while on browser.its like the same color consrast as intro of 2ksolid or elfmage back in the day. its like wtf?

What Arch said is a good starting point.

Next try this:

Click on the search button (the magnifying glass) on the menu bar at the bottom of your screen, type "calibrate" and click on "Calibrate Display Colour".... then just follow the instructions on screen.

If you want to get into it deeper, Google "basic PC monitor calibration" you'll get hundreds of results. Here's one to get you started:

...also... a suggestion - why not keep all your PC queries on one thread?

You've got about a dozen dotted around the forums and having one dedicated thread would:
a) Help you find all the answers to your questions
and
b) Make the forums tidier ;)

If you like, we could change the title of this thread to something like "My PC Questions"?

I'll lock this as you now have a new thread about your PC... try to keep all further discussions on one thread please ;)
