Anyway, mine's a Sealy can't remember which version.
I suspect it's probably coming up to it's 10 year guarantee but I doubt I'll replace it soon because it's still in good shape, no sagging or wear. I suppose it helps that neither of us are very large/heavy.
I did look at replacements about a year ago but there's so many brands now with so many whizz-bang titles and claims and whatnot that I got bored and confused and couldn't be bothered.
And oh my gosh aren't some of them so expensive now !!!
My mum-in-law had a memory foam mattress on the spare bed. I hated it because it made me overheat. It was several years ago so maybe the technology has improved but I wouldn't buy one.
I don't remember what make we have but I do remember it has zoned pocketed springing. This means it has more springs in areas where you need more support.
I don't have a mattress, per se. I have a sleep number bed with air pockets in it. I can pump it up for a very firm mattress or a very soft one. It even massages.
