I recently tried to try out Free Leech for my first time ever, I was put off to it extremely quick, however I'm glad I decided to check out these forums because based on some posts here it looks as though the issue may have been due to the fact that the host was VampireFrown, it seems I'm not the only one who's has had an issue regarding his conduct.

I'm not here to make a specific report or anything, I just wanted to confirm other posts I've seen made by people in regards to him that he tends to take things too far and mock people for minor mistakes.
My specific mistake was forgetting to turn auto-retaliate off, which is indeed my fault, but it was one that was instantly corrected, considering this was my first time ever trying this leeching system I'm surprised it took me that long to make a mistake.

Anyway, I hope to try again in the future and not make the same mistake, lol.

As far as I'm concerned, all these posts are 'I broke a rule and don't like being kicked for it'. You're also all wonderful at downplaying your faults and exaggerating mine.

The rules are very simple to follow. Kicks don't mean that you're never allowed to use the FC again; they're merely a reminder to follow the rules properly next time. It is essential to hosts (not only myself, but all hosts) that we don't lose unreasonable amounts of time due to leech error in our runs. This FC doesn't exist solely to give you free tokens. It exists so that (primarily) speed dungeoneers can have an easily-accessible pool of attentive leeches. Free XP/tokens for leeches is a secondary purpose of the chat. If you were kicked, you failed to be a competent leech. It's as simple as that. We trade our time and our expertise for your undivided attention during floors. It's a very fair trade, considering that the floors are free .

I also don't kick for minor breaches of the rules. If you were kicked for being AFK, it was probably a considerable amount of time. Likewise, if you were kicked for auto retaliate, it wasn't for accidentally forgetting to toggle it off and tagging a mob, but rather for retaling for several seconds, and then managing to do it again on another mob (which was the case in the poster above), which also indicated to me that he went AFK.

And I'll admit, I am short with some people. But never without good reason. I only ever vent my frustration when I've had to abandon the floor because of a leech's screw ups. If you fall into that camp, then I can't say your complaints mean much to me. I never flame leeches, nor do I rant at them for longer than a couple of sentences. It's short and sweet with me. By the tone of a couple of these comments, you'd think that I'd been hounding people's PMs for hours.

Follow the (very simple) rules and all will be well. It really isn't a hard concept to understand.
