Proposal:
I am proposing a mid to high level version of Elite Dungeons, with appropriate rewards to match.
This would add more mid/casual high level content for players that want to try their hands at Elite Dungeon style gameplay but aren't high enough level or well enough equipped to tackle the existing ones, or just want a more casual experience.
This could be done as either complete new dungeons (proposals below) or as scaling options to the existing Elite Dungeons.
Concept #1: Castle Wars Redux (technically not a dungeon)
General Khazard has taken over the Castle Wars! Fight your way through the battlefield, storm the castle, and take back the keep from the Mahjarrat General!
Concept #2: Dagannoth Dungeon (actually a dungeon)
The Dagannoth Mother has returned! Fight your way through hordes of dagannoth, wallasalki, and rock lobsters, and take down the brood mother once and for all!
Concept #3: Pirates in Port Sarim (again not technically a dungeon)
Pirates (the bad kind) are trying to invade Port Sarim! Meet them out at sea and fight through ship after ship until you get to the leader and sink him to the depths below!
One potential downside I can think of is also one of the main upsides, which is a lower barrier to entry. More people that play the content means more rewards being generated and more gold/items entering the economy. I'm no game designer so I don't really know how that could be addressed, but I wanted to bring it up all the same.
