Suggestion: Now that the initial necromancy bosses are right around the corner, can we improve bossing in general by adding the ability to pay a big fee to certain npcs so that they may tag along in a boss fight including for hermod and rasial?
This means you can pay let's say, 5m for the raptor to assist you in fighting raksha. You can pay him a little more so that he doesn't automatically take his cut of the boss loot as he is replacing the second player in the duo raksha by being the tank and having incite constantly on.
In a interface similar to temple trekking trading followers, you can add items for the npc to consume at certain times and you can use supplies from your inventory on the npc hired to help you on the boss fight when the npc says they've run out of supplies which they can then consume more of until they run out again.
You can hire a full group of NPCs to fill out however many NPCs you want to help you in a boss fight, with all of them paid for beforehand at the NPC hiring board in the fort. The maximum amount of hireable NPCs depends on the specific boss and you can hire less if you want to get higher drop rate for aod.
NPCs can then be set to roles you want them to be, and how well they react to boss mechanics depends on how much you've paid them. If you paid them a king's ransom, then they will react to mechanics and deal damage as well as the top 1% of pvmers.
If a NPC in your hired contract runs out of food, they will tele away upon receiving a hit that would have killed them. The fight then continues until all other NPCs tele away or you tele away or die.
Players are required to have "a fort of my own" achievement before being able to hire NPCs to assist you in boss fights, and are required to have at least 1 kc from any boss as well (you don't need kc for the boss you want to hire NPCs for).
NPCs remain hired for the boss fight's duration, and will need to be hired again if you kill the boss or die or change bosses.
Thoughts?
