Been saying this for years and I truly want this to happen...

I want this game to finally have discontinued rare items golden masks!!!

They do however need to have a brighter gold color somewhat yellowish, goldish, orangeish color you know like trident royal! As a matter of fact why not add other rares that look like that too? Imagine trident royal themed rares?

This game needs more discontinued rare items!

Imagine a royal partyhat or whatever you wanna name it, gemstone, diamond and gold idc but it will be all diamondly and goldish but then it can also have argb and change colors!

or how about ruby phat?
emerald phat?
dstone phat?
onyx phat?
diamond phat?
sapphire phat???
how about a bright yellow jade phat? or w/e stone is yellow idc

blood, shadow pumpkins which you can hold
gold, blood dye which you can hold or a dye for it to make edibles holdable
how about a discontinued rare scarf? gold, argb, shadow, blood

I really used to enjoy doing gwd1, corpses, merching, etc and buying a phat and other rares but nowadays? gl with that; prices of rares are wayyy too high for that and even if I could I most definitely am not paying 5b for a mask! I used to buy purple phats for 15m! That's like one trip to the dks.

Let's just release new decked out rares which look much betetr than any of the current rares? especially my idea with gold masks, white masks, and trident royal themed rares! trident royal argb themed rares would be yummies!

Or wait... How about one time event for high lvl tier weapons? Release 1000 lvl 97 swords or something which are diamond, gold, argb, w/e. Do tournaments or something.

W8... Why don't we already have shiny version in-game? Why not make gold versions of items which are 1/100k chance? Imagine a gold+argb staff? Add an argb holdable gummy bear discontinued rare? Get sponsorship with haribo?

Get sponsorship with nvidia and then create a holdable argb rtx 3090 discontinued rare

just add gold masks to rs!

I’m unsure about more rares. On the one hand it’s cool to have the events and something new to work towards getting. On the other hand just constantly pumping rares of different varieties in to the game makes the existing ones less valuable, and would make them seem pointless.

I’d say maybe add a couple more then stop there.
• Black Halloween mask
• Orange Halloween mask
• White Halloween mask, with Gold horns.

• Argb suit (although with a better name). Reskin of the vitality suit except it’s white, and the portion that changed colours dependent on your health now resemble Argb keyboard lights etc. Check out Thieves guild layout redesign. Happy ‘scaping

I just want anything that's shiny/glossy/argb

really loving my new pc! so now I want rares that look the same like my computer components haha

oh and not to mention buying rares nowadays is extremely difficult so maybe adding some new rares might help because you know purple phat cannot be worth 10/100b, maybe 5b at most but def not 100! prices of rares are crazy high right now and that feeling of satisfactions when buying a new rares is simply non existent atm even if buying a new rare or if not buying one it's the same due to insanely high prices

oh and osrs also needs rares cuz you know why not?

I've been saying that they need a gold phat for over a decade and we finally get one so hopefully gold masks is next!

as for orange mask it'd look amazing if it was like trident royal memory with a hint of argb!
ohhhh, imagine white argb mask!
ruby anything would look nice tbh

But I really think one discontinued rare should def be something useful like t90/t93/t97 weapons? Like why not have holiday event that drops gold, ruby, argb weapons?

Nah, they should re-release old rares and holiday cosmetics, plus rerun the old events from time to time. Don't even need to overhaul the graphics of the areas. A few of the older ones from the pre 2007-08 era remake they might need to, but nothing after that. Leader of The Enemy ||

Last i checked ppl dont like it when jagex rehashes old content and this'll be just that.

Plus if you like the 07-08 events, thats what osrs is for.

The game has not been rehashing previous events since the last 20 years, so why are you even labeling this as an issue when it's clearly not?

You also think there should be a rerelease of the tradeble rare items? I have yet to see an argument to why they should be re-released.
You didn't miss out on those, you can still purchase them from other players.

You didn't miss out on those, you can still purchase them from other players. Wrong, they have rerun events and rereleased holiday items. They reran both the holiday event where you got the snowglobe, as well as the one where you got the christmas wand and the Tinsel Snake, rerealeasing those items. They've rereleased the Tinsel Snake I think 3 times. They've rereleased the Ice amulet that allows you to summon your ice imp friend during wintumber season at least three times as well.

Some holiday events have been added permanently as quests as well. Both Violet is Blue quests, The Broken Home quest, and the Myths of the White Land quest, were released as holiday events.

And then there is all the times they've rerun different MTX events.

So yes, there is precedence for these kinds of things. Actually know what you are talking about before speaking these kinds of things.

A for why rares should be rereleased? They were always supposed to be these fun little holiday with no monetary value whatsoever. Just like the untradable holiday items. Theres a reason they hi-alch for 1 coin. Jagex has admitted more than once that releasing them as tradable was a mistake. That releasing something that can only ever increase in price, that only exists to be manipulated , only hurts the game. The best way to fix that, to make them just fun little holiday items again? Rerelease them again. You can already do things like keepsake a dyed item while wielding a dyed item to showcase your ridiculous wealth. You don't need something that is meant to be a fun little toy to do so. Leader of The Enemy ||
