In osrs there is not as much ranged equipment/ ability to make it very viable besides bashing your brains out using maple bows, which I feel is a bit ridiculous considering Rs3 has most things up until blue d'hide to give you benefits from using the combat style. I'm not saying full rework or add everything to F2p but some greater more diverse equipment would be well appreciated all across F2p. Maybe add a new boss somewhat like Obor that adds some new higher leveled ranged equipment as well. Any change would be nice.
