Not certain that this needs to be an entirely new skill, but could definitely add in some more options to cooking
Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
Do you think I should get off the tracks?
Seems like a bland skill, but wouldn't be that hard to implement and seems to make enough sense. You're also very right about there being an opportunity for this given all the creatures that drop nothing but bones. Meh, I feel very meh about this, but I'd probably end up training it were it released.

I'd like to rehash what Adarajin said above me. Cooking may be diverse but it's frankly a little boring. Adding combat to one of the ways to train it would make me much more enthusiastic about the new content, so I'd just settle on adding this new content to the cooking skill.

O Teragard
If anything, I'd classify it as an extension of Cooking. I don't mean to be rude, but it feels a bit arbitrary, especially in a game where cooking meat that a random animal you killed just dropped is as easy as using it on a fire or cooking range. That said, if it does become a thing, I hope they make it possible to skin Karamjan monkeys for yourself after completing Tai Bwo Wannai Trio.
