Pest Control Rework: PVM arena "Waves" Boss that counts for Soul Reaper and Marks of War
Proposed Changes:
- Landers use the Boss Arena mechanics. Each lander counts as it's own instanced boss encounter. Easy, Medium, Hard. For 1 hour.
- Players can still group up for an encounter. Minimum 1 player to start. Up to 25 Players in an encounter. (Maintains the spirit of Pest Control.)
- The area is no longer "safe". You can die and lose your stuff.
- during the encounter, the Void Knight is now functionally immortal. (make in game lore reason they developed a new ritual that protects the Knight. They still can't do anything but perform the ritual.) Pests will still try to hit the Knight.
- Pests now get a universal drop table depending on the tier of the encounter. Easy has the worst loot. Hard has the best loot. (Think similar to GWD2 mobs where all non-boss encounter creatures have the same drop table.)
- The Portals are treated as the BOSS of the encounter. Destroy 1 Portal, get 1-5 Marks of War. Destroy all 4, get an additional set of Marks of War. Destroying all 4 Portals counts as a kill for Soul Reaper.
- New Drop: Damaged Void Knight Gear. The gear can be handed in to the Knights for Commendation Points. Or repaired. Drop is uncommon to rare to depending on the source and difficulty mode. (ie: Pests on Hard are more likely to drop it than on Easy.)
- New Commendation Point Reward: Imbued Rings. Just like for Soul Wars.
- Players no longer accumulate Thaler participating in this.
