At 75 necromancy and 75 invention, players can now craft a necromancy cannon (Soulstorm hurricane) with necromancy ingredients and invention comps. The necromancy cannon can be upgraded with a soulstorm hurricane upgrade kit, dropped by nodon dragonkin and can be upgraded with artisan's workshop upgrades. Players can combine cannonballs with impure essence at the spirit altar to create spiritual cannonballs which are only used with the necromancy cannon. Soulstorm hurricane upgrade kit is tradeable but the cannon isn't.
Players can now create a t90 necromancy defender (Kalphite lantern) by combining perfect chitin with a death guard (tier 90). It's like other defenders, allowing use of defensive abilities and is a alternative to needing to cast greater bone shield.
