4 shards of the pillars combined then added to praesul wand to increase it to a t95 wand.

spotleewolf mention she wished there was a way to upgrade it.. made me think of this. jack of all trades, always willing to help those in need. we care about our communities.

I think if they were to go for the upgrade route (rather than a new dedicated t95 drop), they should upgrade something older and lower levelled to breathe a second life into them (like they did with the DK rings a while ago, which just hadn't had any relevance in the modern game).

It's bad enough in OS to see so many items to be both to be the penultimate and ultimate ones for that slot and role, since some decade old things aren't allowed to be devalued forever by surpassing them in some other way.

RS3 on the other hand never restricted itself in that way for the matter - and it's preferably it doesn't start doing now. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

i agree, but also use t92 aswell.

like virtus + praesul wand + (something else to be released = t95 variant

for t97 or 99

seismic wand + praesul + (something else to be released = t97 or 99 whatever route they go down)

this still keeps the bis wand relevant and breathes fresh air into older content.

could literally just be the powers of both wands / OH get infused with *new item*. and its that new item that makes happen.

I think that is the OS issue all over again - macgyvering more or less random items together (for that matter the DK rings both in RS3 and OS are much more elegantly solved (imbuing with a crystal or applying the signet to a new ring respectively) than let's say you're breaking down bandos armour (especially considering the in that game worthless boots do not work for that, solely for the reason they do not have any value to protect in the first place) in order to repair a piece of zarosian things), preventing actual progression (since you always will have the existing path within the new things), in the worst case creating content that is outright worthless on its own merits.

As said I do think t95 (and probably even one tier or two after that) should be either entirely new - or be based on something much older. There just is a difference between keeping/making old things relevant and basically locking the full sequence of progression behind certain content. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2
