The ONLY thing about this that might cause me to consider this as a valid idea, is the fact that it would provide a much-needed gold sink by encouraging players to trade on the GE more, and thus pay the GE tax...

that said, I REALLY don't think that this is necessary.

ETA: Oh, and a downside that just occurred to me... this would probably encourage more merchanters and price manipulators, which is a major reason NOT to have this. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
Do you think I should get off the tracks?
