Issue
: Often when a lot of players are present in an area (such as an event or new skill), public chat can be overwhelming. It also tends to degrade to a point where most mature players prefer to filter it or turn it off altogether.
The public chat filter option for friends works well for this situation, but members of clans will miss messages from other clan members unless they're on their friends list.
Solution
: Add a filter option for "friends + clan" to show messages from either friends or clan members (or both). Clan members needn't be in a player's friend list for their messages to appear.
You might want to considering making this filter available in other chat categories if appropriate; however, public chat seems to be the one that stands to benefit the most.
