Similar to Fort Forinthry, Burgh de Rott can do with a few upgrades:
1. Using construction to add / repair buildings (e.g. cooking ranges, praying altars)
2. Incorporate minigames to add unlocks (e.g. scoring a certain amount of points in Shades of Mort'ton to remove the gate between Mort'ton and Burgh de Rott).
3. Serum 208 to permanently cure more Mort'ton villagers into shopkeepers/persons of interest.
4. Expand Temple Trekking and Burgh de Rott Ramble, i.e. successful journeys also bring
resources to Burgh de Rott to improve the town, arm villagers, and unlock new weapons to fight vyrewatches.
5. New prayers, village resources, and improved loot while cremating vyre corpses.
6. The world guardian to become a mayor of sorts after a short quest to rebuild the area, while able to manage it from Fort Forinthry Command Centre, higher tiers generate more resources etc.
Skills involved:
Combat: Instanced encounters where players can fight off nearby hordes of vyrewatches.
Construction: Buildings and upgrades
Support: New shortcuts and possibly pickpocketing vyrelords and vyreladies for high level
thieving.
Slayer: New, efficient ways to dispose of the various monsters nearby + vyrewatches. Don't forget the Swamp creature! We can finally see the rest of it in a special scenario (e.g. invading the village).
Gathering: Bring farming patches (all sorts) into the village, and introduce new seeds and plants.
Mid to higher levels would have completed the Myreque quest series, and they would have a decent reason to stay in the area.
All in all, I just don't like the living situation in Burgh de Rott and Mort'ton despite the death of Lord Drakan. It would be nice if they looked healthier after some upgrades in both villages.
