There are items that nobody will know you have that may or may not make you feel good just to have it, but if there is no use for it then it should be destroyed after the quest, or given to some npc involved in the quest.

Anyways, I like the idea. It will save me a lot of bank space. Idk if this is on topic or not, but I think there are a lot of items that deserve to have an option to equip them for cosmetics for some quest items or something.
