There is already so much done for people so that automation isn't required. The afk timer was recently increased to 10 min from 5. Meaning you can literally start mining and then go afk and do something else for 10 min and come back and click again. No botting required, unless of course you want to maintain stamina at 100%.
Botting should not be allowed. I would assume that people break rules for a reason, and I like to think jagex is doing all they can on their part to fix those problems. But there are obviously people who do RWT and in world of warcraft, there are cases where these people actually do RWT for a living. The point being that if there is made an instance of the game where botting is allowed and it is separate from the original game, what would even be the incentive for the botters to change to that other instance?
And finally.. is botting a real issue in RS3 anymore? Like are there actually people botting or do people just assume that the lvl 3 or 16 player is a bot or simply because there are 2 or more players close to each other with similar names, they must be a bot?
