It doesn't matter what OSRS does. RS3 has had pures for longer and has specifically implemented support for them in the forms of stat resets and conversion of quest rewards into xp lamps. Despite this OFFICIAL SUPPORT in game systems of RS3, the gameplay of RS3 is antagonistic towards pures due to how the combat system works. It makes even less sense in some scenarios like the obsidian armor situation explained by OP.

Instead of trying to deflect onto a completely separate game, try to talk about the game being discussed. Thanks.

Why do you think OSRS has more than double the players of RS3?

He talked enough times about OSRS to make his point that OSRS is doing better than RS3 and RS3 is taking no action, in regards to his problem that is.

Thats the case according to OPs statement, so far the complaints are about RS3 regarding the pures.

And me and other users have already rebutted him soundly. First it is our choices to become pures, both RS3 and OSRS are not catered to pures. Second, OSRS pures are hindered equally by quest and skill requirements among others. Obviously they can't be asking for the Max Cape.

Obsidian requiring 60 def but requiring a quest that requires 80 def is weird.

Agree there should be some kinda change there.

well obsidian is tier 60 armour always has been.

i dont really see a need to change it. just because a quest is required that has higher def lvl. the only thing to change would be to make the armour req 80.

Your opinion doesn't mean much when the real facts is both games aren't catered to pures specifically. Those of us who are not disinterested in either or both RS3 and OSRS, and actually been playing either or both games should realize that fact easily. You want to be a pure in either RS3 or OSRS or both, there are plenty of content we can't get and can't expect Jagex to cater to us.

I hope those pures in OSRS don't use the excuse Jagex doesn't cater to them and let them wear Max Cape to leave.

Your opinion doesn't mean much when the real facts is both games aren't catered to pures specifically. Those of us who are not disinterested in either or both RS3 and OSRS, and actually been playing either or both games should realize that fact easily. You want to be a pure in either RS3 or OSRS or both, there are plenty of content we can't get and can't expect Jagex to cater to us.

It means enough to make you comment, it seems. But then again, no one cares whether you believe it matters or not. What matters is OPs thread, mainly the fact that RS3 players might migrate to OSRS because of the on topic matters mentioned in this thread.
