Moia observes what looks like Necroplasm on the floor during Nadir Saga quest, which appears by a portal that I'm assuming was/is 'Um'. Inspired by this, I thought, what if we could gather souls when PVM'ing via portable-portal incantation? When a foe has been slain, we draw a portal (ability toggle) using Necroplasm their soul gets sucked into ‘UM’. Thoughts?

Rituals would still be the main source of gathering souls, this'd just 'supplement' it via PVM. Bob says:

Never trade in the Wilderness!

Never give your password out to anyone.
