Since the Wilderness Flash Special events are time gated and limited to 5 per 24 hr period
Why not add the Sack of very wildy reward to all Wilderness Flash Events but put a limit to how many can be done per day. Such as 3

It's a phyiscal limit - they happen on average every 4.33 hours - so you'll be able to do 5-6 on any given day, depending on how the rotation goes. Assuming you're doing them every 4 or 5 hours.

OP doesn't want to expand it further, but rather change the events to something, that doesn't promote as unhealthy behaviour such as forcing yourself the log in every few hours, but rather being able to graze the rewards off on any 5 events, rather than those 5 specifically. Which players certainly do considering the value of the core even over half a year later. Which is ridiculous considering we're talking about some company with their mental health spiel.

Honestly - I would even go a step further - change it to a once daily d&d with the option to play it more for reduced rewards. The first event on any given day gives out the wild sack - with increased amount of loot rolls, so nobody ends up being worse. Every other even beyond that only grants xp and the regular sack.

I misread the OP as saying all events being limited to 5 per day, not just the special events. My bad.

I agree the rotation nature of the events do promote unhealthy playing styles. They are also overly rewarding already, despite the chance of a dark core. I was amazed that there wasn't a limit to how many you could do per day when the events were first released - after all, standard D&Ds are limited and much less rewarding.

Adding them to the D&D roster is perhaps the best way to go. The three per day limit and the diminishing sack returns seem to be a fair compromise. It would certainly be less intrusive to various playing styles. If players want more, there's always D&D tokens.

People show up, catch or do 1 thing then vanish. The reward numbers are jacked so high it's impossible to complete the required amounts for the wilderness sack rewards.

Maybe Jagex should be able to reset this amount when a player leaves!!! Just did the butterfly thing with 37 to catch, 2 people show up and the number jumps to 20 more than I could catch in 5 minutes!

This is stupid waste of my time when I could be doing other things!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonder how many ppl would like me to do that??
