Just like fletching mixed with smithing, you can create different kinds of darts, different tiers of them. Why not do the same for cannonballs so the higher, the tier like from steel cannonballs to rune or dragon The damage will increase you create a new market for it, and it would help with the range instead of the same old steel ones also increase the speed it takes to make them
