Simple idea: Update drop tables for old content when future quests or tasks come out.
Eg: you complete a quest that involved Bandos, it unlocks an extra item to his drop table.
Or it could give you a chance at getting more loot from commons? drop: 1-5 to 2-7 etc.

I was just thinking of ways they could breathe new life into old bosses and what-not. Bob says:
