I'd like to posture, or second any previous suggestion, that items stuffed by the taxidermist in Canifis should be returned to the player after removing an item constructed using them from their POH.

I'd say their are two major benefits

1. Players can feel less pressure to place these rare items in exactly the right room the first time they wish to display them.

2. As a result of the ability to reposition the stuffed item within a POH, players would end up using more construction resources (i.e. planks/gold leaves) re-building stuffed items.

I do not believe this would devalue the hunt for these rare items that get stuffed as I don't think it is engaging to re-earn an item just to re-configure your POH.

as it currently stands the POH is only used to get to 40 so you can do contracts and the specific rooms you need for their utility. the players looking to "place it in the right room" are few and far between. majority of us just put the aquarium, chapel, workshop, a study or two, and maybe a menagerie or kitchen in the box around the entrance and call it a day. theres so little use to the POH now with how little it offers compared to contracts for training. the room you hang the trophies in in the first place isnt even something worth making unless youre going for a one of everything build.
