I love the new updates! So much to do and keeping the older players around by giving them more to do! I'll be playing for a long time (I got a longs way to go)

For the OGs of Runescape: How do you perceive the evolving landscape of the game with its constant updates, and how has your experience and attachment to the game transformed over the years? ~Th3 Good Guy

That's an interesting question. I've been playing since about 2008 and I find it interesting how RS has been able to keep around so many players over the years. I was reading an article about it in Forbes recently, in fact.

I quit RS shortly after RS3 came out because I had a full-time job and I didn't exactly like it at first. I wasn't open to change and I really liked the feel of what is now OSRS; the aesthetics and gameplay. After a number of years, I came back to RS3 out of pure boredom in my free time. Now I play it pretty casually. I like all the updates Jagex has implemented since I quit. It's been a few, to say the least. I don't like, however, if we want to play OSRS, Jagex makes us start all over from zero, even though our RS3 account has years of gameplay on it. May as well create a new account at that point, for that matter.

I can relate to your experience. When RS3 was initially released, I too found it challenging to adapt.
I do share your frustration with the division between RS3 and OSRS, as it can be disheartening to think of starting anew in OSRS despite having years of progress in RS3. It almost feels like creating a new account would be a simpler option at times. ~Th3 Good Guy
