RuneScape has taught me so much it's hard to know where to start. When there was no Grand Exchange, I learned how to type quickly by buying/selling things at banks.
I also refined my essay-writing abilities through heavy use of the forums.
Then there's the money managing skills and patience to earn things. I spent hours fishing lobbies to afford my first whip back in the day.
Finally, many of my strongest friendships were created through RuneScape. I've had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing people on this game the last 8 odd years.

RuneScape has better helped me to understand people's thoughts, reactions, feelings, and behavior. With this in mind, I'm now better at being able to understand individuals thoughts than I ever could have been without this game. In a very weird way, this has allowed me to manipulate and sometimes outright control people, which is something I have to be very careful of doing
