Despite the many horrible people I've met on this game (hang in there, I am getting to something nice), I have met many wonderful people on RS and had a lot of really good experiences. Genuinely friendly and community-minded people who both enjoy the game and enjoy life outside RS who can find that balance have brought me back to the game again and again. I have also immensely enjoyed the game itself, and even though now I cannot no-life it like I used to when I was a kid I still will log on every once in a while to enjoy the pleasure of grinding that xp or questing or trying out a new minigame. There is no game quite like RS, and I've never enjoyed or spent anywhere near the amount of time like this game. Kudos to the Gower brothers and their legacy.

should put this in compliments section in case you didn't understand from previous posts...

Something nice doesn't always need to be a compliment, following Moderators & Players has taught me perfecting judgement, making me understand both sides better than before.
The compliments section is for complimenting Jagex. This thread is not necessarily for complimenting only Jagex.

I love to play runescape and help out people in game and in the forums. I love the community and trying to keep the game safe from bots and spammers. I also love to skill and make money on this game. Since I started playing i've always loved to see how much it changes.

When I was younger my girlfriends brother introduced me to Dungeons & Dragons. He had a stack of text books a mitre high.

Then I got into computers and the internet but couldn't find a decent role playing game that matched D&D. They all sucked big time and lacked content and had poor game play.

Then my cousin introduced me to Runescape and it was the closest thing to D&D at the time.

The graphics kind of sucked compared to other video games but I wasn't after a game that relied on great graphics to sell itself.

I wanted a game I could get lost in, not a game that I could clock in a couple of weeks and forget about.

A decade down the track I'm still playing it, although not as much as I used to.

Yeah the Gower brothers and Jagex came up with a good idea and expanded on it over the years. It wasn't an easy task for them and they thought about the big picture.
