Since the last L-Mod Appreciation thread is close to the forum graveyard, here is a shiny new thread to show appreciation to the
L-Mod Team
.
In my foruming and Scaping experience, I've found L-Mods to be incredibly helpful in their day-to-day activities. They make a remarkable difference by being at the center of everything going on and relaying insightful information back to Jagex. Through L-Mods, much more of the community's voices are heard. On top of that, they also work incredibly hard to create a safe, healthy, and rule-abiding space, whether on the forums, social media, or even in-game.
For those who are unfamiliar with L-Mods, L-Mods are full-time staff who are employed at one of Jagex's Community Partners. They are part of the Community Management (CM) Team and they help with all things community related, including managing the forums, championing social media, and monitoring player feedback. More info on L-Mods:

Please feel free to share praise or great experiences you've had with L-Mods.
I appreciate the L-Mods for many reasons, but I'd say one of the best characteristics I've seen in them is approachability. Many of them aren't afraid to share their own "flavor" and personality on these forums, which is great. I think the L-Mods also do a great job in posting in various discussions engaging with forumers. It is cool to see the myriad of involvement; the posting on both casual and serious discussions, as well as their presence in helping to keep these a peaceful space.
Thank you L-Mods/CM moderators on everything that you do for the forum community.
Well said, Theos! CMs have been awesome since their re-introduction to the Forums. One face that I can't forget is CM Nick as he's one of the CMs that has been here since the beginning! Thanks CM Nick for always being readily available when required and for making sure that our concerns are always addressed.
Thanks, L-Mod/CMs for taking care of the community!

The fandom wiki is defunct, way out of date, and a playground for trolls and phishers.
The official wiki is here:

Agreed. Nick is the one I've seen the most in forums. He's like Hagrid to me. Always there making the atmosphere just that bit better. Knowing what LM's work with in Jagex I'm very glad to have them around. From helping with legal matters to engaging with community, I owe them very much appreciation
Life is like a camera: Just

on what's important,
capture
the good times,
develop
from the negatives, and if things don't work out,
take another shot
!
I do appreciate the work the Local Moderators do - the forums would be a lot more barren without them, and it's nice to have some individuals who are essentially Jagex Moderators without their Gold backgrounds, whether they'll ever get them, who knows. I've enjoyed seeing some of the LMod team interacting on several forum threads, as well as the RS Discord.
Thank you for all you guys do.

The last thread, which I created
here
is far from the graveyard - this forum moves very slowly so it'll be around for another year or so.
Threads should only be remade if the previous owner has gone inactive, or the thread itself has passed page 50.
Regardless, that thread did not garner much attention, because LMods have been said to be Jagex Mods, for which they already have the entire subforum that players can be appreciative and can make threads about. I don't particularly see any reason why another centralised thread is needed, especially when it's a copy of an already existing thread.
