I started playing in early '05. I absolutely love this game and hope it's still around for another 20+ years. One aspect of the game that wasn't totally intended was the advent of the economy on RS, which to my knowledge has been studied in academia for modeling real-world economic trends. A lot of people play for pvp or pvm, but I've always liked flipping and merching. I think Jagex did a great job making this a "side" game.
