Hey look at that, I'm actually not bitching about something! It's a Christmas miracle.
So I spent a long time in-game using tuna potatoes as my primary source of healing, since they're a pretty solid source of HP and they were pretty much how I was training Cooking...screw it, they're
still
pretty much how I train Cooking. Slow rates now that I'm in my 90's, but hey, they're cheap and they fill urns quick enough. And, of course, I eventually reached the point where I started getting curious. I mean, I'm going to be honest about this one, the first I'd heard of tuna potatoes was through Runescape. Maybe it's a regional thing? But I digress.
So today, I finally decided to try it. Like, a real tuna potato, prepared in the Gielinorian fashion. One baked potato with butter, with corn and tuna. Well, okay. Not
quite
in the Gielinorian fashion. It was less stuffed and more covered - I'm not wasting half a can of tuna! - but the basic concept was the same. No pics, because I don't do that whole Instagram food porn crap and in any case it was not a
pretty
dinner (you'd have been forgiven for not realizing there was a potato in the bowl at all.)
And...it was good! Granted, it pretty much tastes like you'd expect it to - it's corn, it's tuna, it's a baked potato. Not exactly a lot of room to screw it up. But yeah, if you've never thought to try it, give it a go. It's a pretty low-effort lunch for a weekend. Though
maybe
you shouldn't try shoving it down your face-hole while trying to shove a spear up a dragon's...er, nose. It's a bit much to eat with your bare hands. Or in one bite.
I may follow up with further recipes I learned from Runescape in future. But no, Jagex, you will never convince me to try a banana pizza. That highwayman died for his sins and I won't hesitate to stand and deliver another beating for that atrocity.
