Idk, if i had a kid in this day and age, i reckon i would prefer to steer them away from countless hours behind a computer screen and allowing them to become addicted to this game "just as we all did", i would limit online access and teach my children how to live their life in the real world therefore steering them towards school, college, university and then onto the goal of the job they love rather than 45 minutes scaping before school, thinking about what they will do after school on rs and then seeing them in a zombie like state until stupid hours mindlessly clicking away at a mouse.


Or try and teach them to be really good at footy.

Sadly i can't agree with this lets give free to make more kids play while knowing that after the free bond, the father will probably have to pay the childs membership.

Shame on whoever thought this was a good idea and shame on whoever allowed it to be put in place.

Instead of giving out free membership in an attempt to drag more cash into the company, give out free bonds to the likes of me who have stuck with this game through good times and bad and still continue to represent jagex with our presence.

I think it is a great idea for fathers to play this game with their children! When I played as a child myself Runescape taught me a lot about life (reading, working with people, money) - I wish my father had played the game with me!

For a father and child to play together I feel can be a very rewarding experience! Thanks Mod Poerkie!
