I started playing RuneScape in 2004 on a desktop PC with a dial-up internet connection.

I've gone through a few computers since those early days. I've been using my current laptop for just over a year now. My days of dial-up are long gone, but I have no use for mobile.

The 15 year veteran cape is definitely the coolest cape ever! It owns other capes. The 20 year cape will need to be EPIC! It should be released in February 2022. I'll get mine in 2024. ^_^

You can buy XP. You can't buy experience.
"...From The 'Scape" is very nearly here.

I do like "Coffee Clicker", I too have always considered RuneScape as my social break!
I'm also a player of around 20 years and it's such a joy to see the continued support and how far along RuneScape has come over the years. :)

Ive been playing Runescape since 2001.

My then boyfriend.. now my husband... showed me this fantastic MMORPG and I fell
in love. With the game.. and him. Maybe fell in love with him cause he showed me
the game. I have thought about this and cant come up with a definate on that. ;)

But I love this game!!! And cant wait for another 20 years. (with both hubby and game).

Hans & I have been here a long time.

I started, as Doctor Who says, "before time"; before Jagex recorded my sign-up date. I missed a few days while travelling or in hospital so not quite a perfect record. Despite some zero days, Hans says that I have averaged over 4.5 hours per day every day.

I have physical restrictions on what I can do irl & in-game but I have enjoyed all I have done.

I've been playing the game for over 15 years on and off..

When I started, I was young and had no money. So played f2p. I can still remember going in pk clan to the wildy hoping to get a runite platebody hahaha
I actually managed to get high enough mining in f2p to mine runite in the wildy and got my first 1.000.000 rs gold (very much in that time, especially f2p).

Later on I got a job and could play RS during breaks and could pay for membership. Have had many breaks for years, but always came back.
Now I am back and still enjoy the game. It has changed a lot. It seems that every time I get back to the game I have to relearn the game in a lot of ways, but that is fun to me.

As a veteran player I am still enjoying the game and learning new things every day about the new state of the game.

Am I ever going to really quit???

P.s. I am really awaiting the IOS version of RS. I have already played a bit on my android phone (really small screen), but I have an IPad with much larger screen ;)
