I would personally like to thank Jagex and the RuneScape Team. I was finally able to play again today after the Lockout. You guys have went above and beyond restoring accounts and hopefully all accounts were restored as perfectly as mine.
I've been playing since the very beginning, off and on of course, of RuneScape. Days before Rune armour wasn't even a thing and Elvarg didn't yet make her grand appearance.
I've now been a paying customer for over 2 of those 20 years and I'm always so impressed with the new things in RuneScape.
You guys and gals have been on the ball ever since the, admittedly stressful, Login Lockout. I was worried my data would be lost forever, because as a programmer myself, that's a TON of data you guys had to recover and I'm amazed.
I was invited to the Beta but unfortunately was never able to log in. But something as simple as catching Guthix butterflies today was a breath of fresh air. I'm glad to be back.
Also, amazing how the gift package will be on the 6th. That's my birthday! lol.
Thank you guys so much for the emails and keeping me informed. I really feel like a valued player. This game and the people behind it mean so much to me. Looking forward to another 20 years!
