I updated the title for you. Hope that's okay.
Glad you like Nemi Forest. The team have worked really hard to make it look as enchanting and mysterious as possible, before being Tuska invaded the Goebie planet, Mazcab was once called Chantli. I'd like to think that the Nemi Forest contains hidden wonders of what Chantli was once like before the destruction. Maybe we'll find out more in the future.

There is nothing wrong with this, if you want the pet you should have to camp for it.
It's what gives it that 'Rare' status
At least you'll get some nice magic XP while camping for it!
