I'm genuinely surprised at the lack of praise for this update. Most people know I've been really frustrated with Jagex for the past year now but they've really been doing a much better job in the past month or so. This update is just prime proof of that.

I mean, first, the rewards are really good. Yes, I can see the reason people are upset about the magical dice but meh, it's not like Treasure Trails items were that expensive to begin with, and I can certainly use the free GP. But dice aside, the rewards are pleasant. Some useful, some cosmetic, it's a good balance. And the fact that we can't always have them all at once gives that illusion that we're always striving for improvement. Combine that with the QP goals and it gives us the incentive to quest more. This honestly feels like Jagex's apology for the lack of quests, saying something like, "Sorry guys, we'll do better next year."

In general, things like elite dungeons, the Quest Point Shop, even the most recent trailer (the "Adventure Calls" one) or the recent player survey, they are all have something in common. It may just be me but a lot of what Jagex has been doing recently has really evoked that sense of adventure in me, the feeling I had when I first started playing RS back in 04 (and 06, when I started this account), but with the modern spin on it. I haven't had that feeling in many years and if Jagex is able to start bringing it back (and if they continue in this direction), they'll not only regain my respect, they'll revitalize this game as a whole.

I didn't think I'd look forward to RuneFest this year due to the direction Jagex was going for the past year or so but I am genuinely looking forward to it and the future of this game. Keep it up, guys! :) I really want to love Jagex again and truly enjoy this game once more and if this direction is maintained, that won't take long.

I like the new Quest point shop. I may have clicked the wrong button but not sure.

I got plenty of goodies with 313 qp. So I was happy.

I do like the idea and how Jagex added it. But it did come as a surprise as I was not sure it would fit into the game. But it fit well.

Yeah, I really like how they implemented it, it just fits naturally with questing as a whole, while adding those incentives. I've honestly played RS more today than I have in ages (excluding DXP weekends, naturally), somewhere around 8 hours, and it all started with this update haha. ~

Hi Itolicus,

This thread has been locked due to grave-bumping. In the future, please refrain from posting on old threads which are no longer active.

With respect to your question, the Quest Point Shop, AKA May's Quest Caravan, can be found South of Varrock, right near the Varrock lodestone. I hope this helps you find it!
