I just wanted to say thank you, Jagex, for making another lovely Pride event this year. I’m a veteran player (ca. 2006) who’s about to turn 30, and I’ve had a long and difficult journey towards self-acceptance and self-love. Having a Pride event in a video game might seem like a little thing, but it means a great deal to those of us who are battling shame, homophobia, and depression at home and in society. You are helping someone out there know that it’s okay to be themselves—that they aren’t a mistake, or wrong, or broken. That they belong. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
