I got hooked on Runescape back in the early 2000's (different account). Recently decided to get back into it. I am sure you have gotten compliments on this years ago, but I just got back
Love the changes! Some of my favorites....
1. Free teleport. It's nice to get tasks done faster and not have to spend runes to get from city to city.
2. Better mining and smithing. I love the metal banks, consistent mining rocks, closer smelting and anvils, and the ore boxes. It's great not having to walk back and forth to a bank nearly as much (walking/ running isn't as much fun). Also think it's awesome to Smith Rune at level 50.
3. The hordes of bots are gone! No clue how that works other than a program that kills bots, but I am grateful!
4. Fewer scammers. No one likes a scammer. I used to see scammers multiple times a day. There are still some out there, but it's nice to see there are much less of them.
5. The community. I love that this is a place where my family members can get together in a socially distanced way and spend time together! I also love interacting with other players and enjoying this game together.
There are many other things I love about the game, but I will leave it there for now.
