I want to compliment Jagex for their work in making RS3 a fun game, that is continuing to grow. Things I like about the game are the way there seems to be a seamless progression in activities in some of the aspects of the game. I've seen this in several places like the Sophanem Slayer dungeon. It keeps adding new monsters as you progress through 100-117 slayer level. It makes slayer a fun skill to train, with good rewards like the limitless codex, and then the Magister boss fight. Archaeology also has a sense of seamless progression with xp from digs, and then more xp from restoring. I think the rewards are also spread out nicely, with maddock buffs and materials from the store, and relic unlocks as you level. There is always something to work for, and makes the leveling fun. Then the landscapes from the digsites are really nice works of art.
Something that I think was a good mechanic of the game is the Mazcab raids. Once you get full rep, the free reroll is great, and with the low drop rate for rares, it is a great way to make money for pvm while practicing pvm. The reset is agreeable.
Two distractions and diversions/ minigames are player owned ports and sinkholes. I think these are really well made aspects of the game. Playerowned ports have good rewards and are easy to learn and a fun way to interact with the RS3 world. Then sinkholes is a fun minigame in itself. The xp reward is great, and the mechanics of the card game system works really well.
These are the things I appreciate from Rs3; the playability of the game, progressing through fun activities.
