What was once a forum to "Discuss Items and Prices" has turned into a couple item status threads that only allow PCing rather than discussion of their items. Arguably this would be easier for PCers to make lists rather than searching through discussions between players and I fully support this decision. However, at the same time, this choice scarified the freedom of speech of forums that now made Reddit so popular.
Since we're moving away from a more stringent moderation of forums (for the better) toward a more Reddit-style RSOF, thought it would be nice if we could revive actual discussion, which should be the core focus of this forum rather than just price checking items (which discord bots arguably could do better).
A couple people thought this that making a thread like this be a good idea so I decided to create it as an experiment to see if it could help revive activity in forums.
It would be awesome to see questions like, what do you think the trajectory of bonds will be over the next couple years or like why is the Runite ore not turn into a Runite bar or even where do I find a PC for Tavia's Rod + community responses.
This would serve as a more friendly option towards new players who don't want to make a new thread and would introduce more Reddit-style comments where people just can post/interact.
The same forum rules apply and I'll hopefully let the playerbase and forum moderators guide the boundaries between flame/manipulation and banter/discussion.
Feel free to talk, chat, price check, or ask questions regarding RuneScape items under these thread categories
