okay so... I do not want to spoil the related lore (4 tomes in graveyard), but its raven's best work ever. 20 pages or so that explain what the torch is, why it looks that way, etc. I think its every bit as iconically/monolithically awesome as the guthix killing staff we wield now.

so what does it do? 2 main umbrella things.

bring it to croesus and it saves yer protean logs from stickies (and if you bring grasping for 4 runes of crystal mask the stickies only bomb to worry about - enrage climbing is almost never gonna be yer fault with torch and pouch). when shutter opens, and if core is wc, then you get double the splat takin two logs from it. yowza.

oh yeah and you can blade dive with it.

well... it was time to watch episode of our show, so put pm off, geared to wc and trot off to get timber in graveyard... and the deathspore arrows and loot from elder troves t3 was about 5m. in about an hour.

so if you plan to do 50 hrs of woodcut... the torch pays for itself. I can't say if price will go up or go down, but deathspore arrows kinda tied to it, so the price of that ammo would go up or down too.

final verdict. yeah its tradeable, but I am never selling this. I wish the merch shop had replica things of it. its every bit as kick ass as the fractured staff of armadyl. maybe moreso. wait til you get the lore. man.

edit/add: I have lotd relic and maxed pontifex so I proc both tips and T3 troves. I should clarify. If both then yes I stand by sayin 5m an hr.
