Looks like people exiting rares are starting to put their money elsewhere.

Inb the following:

There was just a pump and dump, rares are back up already, so I don't think anyone is "exiting". People are just having fun :)

- I also doubt anyone would fully invest in SOF/TH items when there's always a huge chance of return, since these items aren't "discontinued"

That's my opinion, now when you mentioned it ^_^

Cos report for 73s? I'd like to believe you in that they are back up but last I saw it was in the 200's, quite a drop lol. Perhaps no one exited and the drop happened as by.. magic?

Crown itself is SOF and not officially discontinued. Only pre 2004 rares are. Opinions are welcomed :) but I don't personally lay much value in them when they have little bearing on reality. Fish masks, lowers, edibles etc not back up either.

Tokens have a better potential by nature as they're taken out of the game by consumption. No risk no reward :^

Just my take, nothing personal

As seasons items go, it is said to be discontinued if you check the wiki.
edit: and wiki is in collaboration with jagex so if this item was falsely there for so long. it probably would been fixed
2018
2 October - RuneScape Wiki leaves Wikia and moves to an independent website in partnership with Jagex
what comes to topic about re-releasing rares, when they tested it with turkeys wich it refers as re-released probably that did not go very well so they might of taken step back in this because it never occurred again
Im not saying it is impossible, but high end item being brought back after long time is very unlikely and i would bet my money that it would not happen with seasonal items. it would be way too unethical by company standards
Bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered

The wiki can be edited by anyone and if you took the time to actually read it it states this:

Other discontinued items

In addition to holiday rares released by Jagex, there are other tradeable rare items that Jagex has left in the game after removing the methods to obtain them. Some of the items on this list have been released multiple times so it is unknown whether they will be permanently discontinued. Currently there is no way to obtain these items in game.

After that line it lists not only season stuff but also the mining and smithing flyer because someone holding those figured people like you would buy into it if it's on the wiki -.-

A wiki article is only as good as it's source material

No it wouldn't have been fixed, because it correctly states the items that follow can still be re-released, you just didn't take the time to read it. The wiki contains 52,571 pages that are community run and not closely monitored by Jagex. Besides, this thread is for pcing, not uninformed opinions that lack punctuation
