Were told they reduced it from purple to red rarity for the Earhart pet. Given the probability of a red reward is 6.23% and the fact that you need 10 ice cubes then its about 0.623% rate of getting the Earhart pet token. 1 pet/ 0.623%= 1/0.00623= 160.5 keys approximately, give or take on your luck. Using bonds would take around 10-11 bonds to get a pet which would cost you about 260-300m to obtain the pet. You'll get some BXP out of it, but I don't think the little bit of XP you'll gain is worth spending 200m+ just for the pet. There are better prices on keys if you buy them with real money, but even if you buy 75 keys get 75 free promo for 22$ to get a pet only worth 30m thats not really worth it IMO because you could buy 3 bonds for 21$ and get 75-80m for it instead, but no BXP. There are also daily keys which wont really effect the price drastically so I didn't include them in the calculation to get one.
I think had this promo started out with it being red rarity that it is now, I bet this pet would be worth 75-200m. Seeing that players used hundreds or thousands of keys in the first few days, there is just an abundance right now which collectors I'm sure are picking up. I'm also not sure if the ice cubes can be received from a regular chest with a multiplier which could really change the rates and prices of my calculations, but I had a red rarity on a normal chest and it didn't have an ice cube in it so I'm assuming you can't (let me know if you have). If they bring this promo back again I'm sure they'll go down a bit.
