Hi, as a friendly reminder, this is a price checking thread. All I wanted to know was the price of the item currently, not whether or not people should buy them. Comments like "don't buy them" may negatively impact the price of the item.

After discussions in the team the items will be converted to their equivalent shards (so a shard 1+2 will turn into a shard 1 and shard 2) on log in.

So please
don't buy
these items since we won't be able to refund you the money.​

In case the items slips by they will also be made untradeable.

Just leaving this reply from Mod Lee here (QFC: 254-255-595-66013672), to the player that asked about the price of the Godsword Shards in this thread.

The action taken by the Forum Moderator was correct. Supplying the players with that information is important. The end of the lock message could have been said better and without including certain things - which I've messaged the F-Mod in question about. However, the overall action was correct.

The supplying of the information from a Jmod stating that the Godsword Shards (1+2, 2+3 and 1+3) will be removed in a future update or be made untradeable, is important. It is nonsense to be defending the said item, because it may "negatively impact the price of the item", when it has 0 value .

I will have to continue posting the Reddit and Twitter posts whenever this thread has a new page, so that players (who are ignorant of this future change to the said items) will not be fooled into buying these Godsword shards. It would help if Jagex actually made the change ASAP, instead of prolonging it for so long. Clue Drops -> 3a Range Top (h357), 3a Full Helm (h439), 3a Druidic Staff (e969), Barrows Dye (h1755, h2546, e680, e1567, e2038, e2160, m480, m783, m862), Shadow Dye (e510, e1970, e1985, h2948), Ice Dye (e1539, e2804), 3a Dye (e3129)
