I recently tested out gp gained using Tony's Mattock vs T99 Space and Time Mattock and thought it was worth sharing the results here. (A friend asked me and I had no idea, so I went and tested it).
I know players have tested exp gain on Tony's, but I haven't found any information about the incremental gp/hour gained on materials. The key finding from these tests were that Tony's provides a decent boost to gp/hour. (imo good but not great; defs nice to have as an added side-benefit)
I tested T99 Space and Time Mattock vs. Guildmaster's Tony's Mattock at the two 'meta' high level Warforge digsites (lvl 115 and lvl 119 sites) for 30 minutes.
All variables were kept the same except for the type of mattock used - both were non-augmented for sake of testing purposes. Key factors included using the full outfit, monocle boost and relic "flow state" for extra precision boosts, and materials gained from Waterfiends were excluded.
Results at Lvl 119 Site
Tony's generated 1350k in materials in 30mins
T99 Space and Time generated 1028k in materials in 30mins
Extrapolating this to 1 hour -
the effective increase in gp per hour was approx. 644k.
Tony's materials in 30min
T99 materials in 30min
Results at Lvl 115 Site
Tony's generated 905k in materials in 30mins
T99 Space and Time generated 780k in materials in 30mins
Extrapolating this to 1 hour -
the effective increase in profit per hour was approx. 250k
Tony's Materials (30 min test)
Space and Time Materials (30 min test)
Hope others find this info interesting! To me the main appeal of Tony's is the faster artefacts/exp but extra gp/hour is also nice to have.
I'd ideally want to do similar tests for Tavia's too, but unfortunately I hate fishing too much to test that one lmao
