in short: yes it would have been possible, if the price on the ge went down too, but it didnt.
You forgot the part where bonds buy low in the morning and sell high at night.
GE calculates averages across a half DAY'S timespan. A dramatic rise in average determines next to nothing about the floor.
I actually did include that part
trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

I wasn't referring to the number of bonds, 300 is easy, I was referring to 15.4 billion GP each, no way he paid that much.

Simply referring to other pc threads, "b" suffix means instant buy or non-instant sell, it doesn't mean to be billions.

Thanks for the info, I never heard of the letter b after a number meaning anything but billion.
If it said inb 15.4m I would read that as instant bought 15.4 million, so when I saw inb 15.4b I read it as instant bought 15.4 billion.

It's just a reporting convention that originated from the R Quark FC, which has since been used in every PC thread here.
Saying "<item> inb 15.4m" does not give enough information on the trade itself. Using "b" indicates that it was an instant buy/non-instant sell for 15.4m rounded up to the nearest 100k. It means that if someone placed a buy offer in at 15.4m, the trade would've completed instantly with the possibility of some change if it trade was not at 15.4m flat.
I mean it is common sense anyway, as you can't offer 15.4 billion in the GE due to the max cash limit. You also would not report an inb if it was a street trade. And a bit of light reading, by looking at the other PC threads, would've told you what the b/s stands for.
