I feel that the current discontinued price check thread is heading for closure as its posting rules are causing a lot of problems on the thread. So I consider this a necessary thread.

And I don't consider it hijacking the other thread. The discontinued item price check threads are a community based thread, I'm trying to help create a solution to the communities problem.

Hello.

Seeing as We have a thread thats been around the forums since June 11 2012 means this 1 would fall under Duplication/hijacking and has been locked.

Now saying that you wish for better rules is fine and no issues with that. You can post your ideas here Fix Price check threads.

The whole Community can get behind the above thread and see what the outcome is. Everyone is after a better ID section and better Status threads so less manipulating posts and spam/trash posts happen.

Feel free to add your ideas and suggestions on the above thread.
