So I thought of participating in the fresh start world to compete for the exclusive rewards, when Jagex stated one of few rewards would be a "Tradeable Rare Halo" earnable through progress in Fresh Start Worlds via the Halo Hunt

And I would like a confirmation, as it takes a lot of effort to compete in the FSW

And I wouldn't wanna compete for the rewards if it's obtainable again in the future , because apparently I already have a maxed out main account

My Question:

Does the term Tradable Rare means discontinued after the event ends?


Would the "Challenger Halo" and the "Halo of the Returning" from the Fresh Start World Event be discontinued at all after the event ends?

When fish mask was first released on June 2012 News Archive it stated:

"Tradable rare" being Discontinued now

And also the term "Rare" when Crown of Season first came out on 28 June 2013 News Archive

Collect enough of the new items appearing on Squeal of Fortune and in-game between the 28th of June and the 8th of July and you’ll bag yourself a Crown of Seasons. This "rare" piece of headwear is available for a limited time, and tradeable both player-to-player and on the Grand Exchange!

Which begs my question does Tradeable rare means discontinued in the future?

you won't get a confirmation.

also, no item is ever discontinued unless officially stated by jagex that it is like they did with the gold phat saying it was a "one time event item".

and even then, any item in runescape can be rereleased at any point in time if jagex wants to rerelease it. Don't trust any pc's listed, any advice or talks between posts on ID forums anymore , the Manips are let loose, especially the main one with 15+ accounts posting acting as different people.. do your own research

I personally believe these are going to be discontinued.
My main concern is do we have an exact number, or approximately how many will be entering the game?
I know that it’s the first 100 to each skill to levels 99 and 120, so that’s 5800 straight away.
What my question is, what are the “World firsts” which Jagex mentioned? How many world firsts are there? And how many FSW worlds will there be?

they have a new announcement with changes to the release date, temporary items will get rereleased in the future for sure and some exp/pet nerfs. check the newspost.

They didnt say anything about any specific item tho. trusting certain pc lists or prices of items or websites that dont belong to jagex will get you into trouble notice: external websites and trades are your responsibility, dont get fooled!.

the basic halo will just depend on the number of players that play and achieve the "eight milestones".

2,756 golds maximum.


and here again thats just first release minimum numbers. they're going to be rereleased later sometime in the future.

Its first to 99 first to 120 and top 100 in each skill , not first 100 to 99/120.
Also first quest cape and max cape, the total is like 2800 odd.

^Even the GPH can return as jagex has proven that just because they say somethings "discontinued" doesnt mean it'll stay that way.

Anyone remember the rubber turkeys.

Thus dont believe for a second that anyone else, including this, is off the table as well.
