Everyone scared about re-releases.
The old word on the street is “Only the OG rares are safe”. Still this statement stands true.
If they were gonna rerelease an OG rare then why did they bring back only a Gold phat instead of OG Phats? Why did they bring out a Green Santa hat and not a Black Santa hat? Why did they make a frosted wreath instead of being back Holly? Why did they release a Gift wrap scythe instead of Xmas scythe?
The only discontinued item they have brought back was Rubber turkey because a player cornered the market with them.
Why piss off their oldest players such as those who own OG rares and bring them back?
Instead they are releasing new items which keeps the less wealthy players happy. If a player really wants a an OG rare than they’re gonna have to put in the work to afford one. Lots of Phat owners aren’t great at merching or bossing, but have Phats because they were around back in the day when they were cheaper and just kept it.
If jagex take away end game goal items then wtf will some of us even continue to play the game for?
